Follow Up Re Our Donations to Aqua Para La Vida

Hi All - I want to let you know that I contacted the folks at Aqua Para La Vida re our donations of $710. As we suspected, they're just terribly busy. I let them know that it's not a problem, and to take their time. Sally

Here's their note:

Sally-
yes, we received the donations and i apologize that its taken so long to get acknowledgments out. we've
been in the middle of proposal deadlines and our board meeting. the good news is that we are entirely
volunteer-run here in the U.S., so all of the money we raise goes directly to our program in Nicaragua.
the down side is that we can can get behind from time to time.

i want you to know how much we appreciate your support. i hope to get all of the acknowledgments sent
out by the end of next week.

thanks!
charlie

Oxfam America and Aqua Para La Vida Updates

What a great meeting last night! Jodi, thanks so much for the fantastic, in depth presentation about famine. Such an important subject. It looks like we'll be sending almost $1200 to Oxfam America!

I emailed Charlie Huizenga re our donations to Aqua Para La Vida. As we suspected, they're understaffed, and busy, busy running their programs. So, no worries! Here's his reply to my inquiry:

Sally-
